Kathmandu, Nepal: Renowned folk song singer and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) central committee member Komal Oli sustained injuries during a clash with police on Monday. 
 
RPP cadres had clashed with police in front of the Election Commission (EC) at Kamaladi of Kathmandu while picketing against of the EC decision to remove the terms Hindu State and constitutional monarchy from its statute.
 
It is said that Oli had fainted after she was hit by a teargas canister during the clash. She is now receiving treatment at Model Hospital.
 
In the clash, about one dozen cadres including senior RPP leader Pashupati Shamsher JB Rana were injured.
