Guwahati: The city based Sun Valley hospital, known for its specialties on diabetic care, conducted the last 'Evening with a Doctor' program at Guwahati Press Club (GPC) on 22 October, where Dr Tapan Sarma (Medicine) provided free healthcare consultations to over 30 participants. 
 
The participating journalist and their close relatives also got their weight, blood pressure & sugar checked by the staff nurses namely Kiniholi Sumi, Naw Naucy, Bobi Senapoti and Rashmi Bordoloi. The 
camp was also graced by Dr Bikash Bhattacharjee (Diabetology), Sun Valley hospital managing director AC Hazarika with directors AK Pathak and K Barman. 
 
Earlier Nemcare hospital conducted the 15 October evening clinic at press club, where Dr Nareswar Barman (Cardiology) and Dr Bikash Kumar Das (Medicine) provided consultations to the participants. Dr Hitesh 
Baruah, the chief of Nemcare hospital and a popular music director supervised the camp, where more than 25 scribes participated. 
 
The next Saturday evening OPD has been postponed due to Deepawali celebration. The 5 November evening clinic will be conducted by the city based GNRC doctors and health workers. The camp will begin at 4.30 pm and scheduled to continue till 7 pm, informed GPC secretary Nava Thakuria.
