Kathmandu, Nepal, January 4, 2022: Third dose of COVID-19 vaccine is being administered to the target group from Today (Tuesday). According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), patients of six different types of disease and people above 60 years of age will be administered additional dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
The people, who have low immunity power to fight against serious diseases like cancer, kidney related ailments, HIV/AIDS including long COVID-19 and People receiving immunosuppressive medicines and those above 60 years of age will be able to get the third dose of COVID-19 vaccines.
It is said that the third dose of vaccine will be available in all the existing vaccination centers except allocated for the children. The target group people have to take their previous vaccination card along with the proof of above mentioned disease and age to get the third dose, the MoHP has stated.
