Kathmandu, Nepal, November 15, 2021: The Federation of Truck Transport Entrepreneurs Nepal (FTTEN) has warned of launching protests against of the price hike of petroleum products. 

Issuing a statement on Monday the FTTEN, the umbrella organization of the truck transport entrepreneurs, has issued such a warn stating that it will compel to stop transporting goods if the government does not rollback its decision to hike the price of the petroleum products.

The decision to hike the petroleum products has severely affected various sectors including the cargo transport system, the FTTEN has stated in the statement. The truck operators will be compelled to stop transporting goods if the government fails to withdraw the price hike immediately, reads the statement.  

Likewise, the FTTEN has also urged the government to revise the transport fares in line with the recent price hike of petroleum products.
