Kathmandu, Nepal, December 20, 2021: Nepal records 218 new cases of coronavirus infection from across the country in last 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 825,954.
Meanwhile, 263 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 809,155.
Likewise, death toll related to the coronavirus infection climbed to 11,574 after one more death reported on Monday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 4,141 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of which, 2,725 were PCR tests while 1,416 were antigen tests. So far, a total of 4,771,758 PCR tests have been carried.
There are currently 5,225 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases, only 94 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
