Kathmandu, Nepal, January 28, 2022: Nepal records 4810 new cases of coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Friday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 944074.
According to the data updated at the official website of the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) 5432 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered. With the addition, recovery tally of the country has advanced to 842436.
Likewise, 10 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide mortality tally has advanced to 11967.
There are currently 89941 active cases of coronavirus infections from across the country. Of the total active cases, only 139 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
