Kathmandu, Nepal, January 18, 2022: Nepal records 8730 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 868215.
Meanwhile, 562 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally advanced to 817547.
Likewise, one more death related to the coronavirus infection has been reported in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally related to the coronavirus infection has advanced to 11624.
There are currently 39044 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country. Of the total active cases, only 100 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities.
