Kathmandu, Nepal March 21, 2022: Nepal recorded 41 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection from across the country in the past 24 hours on Monday. With the addition, nationwide infection tally has advanced to 978196. 

Meanwhile, 147 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 963111. 

Death toll related to the COVID-19 infections has advanced to 11950 so far. According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), no death has reported in the past 24 hours on Monday. 

There are currently 3154 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Of them, only 106 individuals are staying in quarantine facilities. According to the Ministry, 41 new cases were recorded while conducting tests of 4,752 swab samples in the past 24 hours.
