Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepal has thrashed Bhutan 8-0 in their first match of the fourth SAFF Women’s Championship held in Siliguri, India on Monday.
With the winning, Nepal has started its campaign in the 4th SAFF Women’s Championship. Nepal will face the Maldives on Wednesday and Sri Lanka on Friday while final match is scheduled for January 4.
Nepal was drawn in Group ‘A’ along with Sri Lanka, Maldives and Bhutan; while India is pooled with Bangladesh and Afghanistan in Group ‘B’.
