Kathmandu, Nepal, December 13, 2021: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has decreased by 79.23 points and closed at 2,281.67 points at the second trading day of the week on Monday. This is 3.37 percent loss on the index. All the sectors indices have witnessed significant losses in the past few weeks.

On the first trading day of the week on Sunday, the NEPSE index had decreased by points by 88.70 points. The NEPSE index has been decreasing since three months. This is the lowest point since 13th January, 2021.

The Float index has closed at 156.54 points after losing 3.38 percent while the Sensitive index closed at 437 .59 points losing 2.77 percent. The index opened at 2,351.77 points begun to plunge rightly after opening the market. 

A total of 9,679,072 shares were exchanged amounting of Rs. 3.995 Arba in the turnover amount. This is higher than yesterday's turnover of Rs. 3.199 Arba. The trading of Monday indicates of panic sell. 

Nabil Bank Limited (NABIL) made the highest turnover of Rs. 18.03 crores and market price closed at Rs. 1,366.10 per share while the shares of National Hydro Power Company Limited (NHPC) traded the most.

Gurkhas Finance Limited (GUFL) has become the highest gainer with a 9.47 percent gain while Swabhimaan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMFBS) lost the most by 9.99 percent.
