Kathmandu, Nepal, Aug. 2, 2022: A delegation of the Nepal-India Chambers of Commerce and Industry (NICCI) paid a courtesy call on Industry Minister Dilendra Prasad Badu at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies in Singhadurbar, Kathmandu on Monday.

The delegation teams led by Vice President of NICCI Harkirat Singh Bedi, who is also the Business Head of Dabur Nepal, apprised the issues that NICCI had been raising in the past for the promotion of business between the two countries. 

During the meeting, the delegation team mostly raised the issues of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). It is said that the NICCI has been raising the issue for over the past 10 years.  

According to a delegation member, they raised the issues of IPR, trademark, contract manufacturing, payment against service received from foreign companies and many others during the meeting.
