Kathmandu, Nepal, September 30, 2022: Nima Rinji, 16, has set the world record for successfully scaling Mt Manaslu on Friday morning.
Sherpa, who originally hails from Sangkhuwasabha scaled the Mt Manaslu at around 9:20 am on Monday, an official at the Department of Tourism confirmed.
According to the officials, Nima Rinji scaled the 8163-metre peak along with Pemba Thinduk Sherpa, Nurbu sherpa and Manish Maharjan.
The youngest record holder Nima Rinji is the youngest son of record holding climber Tashi Lakpa Sherpa.
