Kailali, Nepal: Nepali Congress’s candidate Aarzu Rana Deuba has lost the elections for the House of Representatives from Kailali constituency number 5.
CPN UML leader and common candidate of the leftist alliance Narad Muni Rana elected by defeating first lady Deuba by 4880 votes.
Naradmuni has secured 27202 votes while Deuba obtained 22322 votes. Rana is the wife of Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba.
