Birgunj, Nepal: The medical doctors arrested on the charge of possessing fake certificate by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police have been acquitted by the Court.
Parsa District Court has on Thursday acquitted eight medical doctors claiming that the charge labeled against the arrested doctors was not proved from the documents.
The CIB had arrested the doctors in the third week of June on the charge of possessing fake certificates to study the medial science.
A single bench of district judge Muhammad Junaid Aajad acquitted all the arrested doctors claiming the CIB could not collect sufficient evidences to prove the charges.
With the decision of the court, the Dr Kusharaj Giri, Dr Saroj Singh and Dr Panna Lal Patel of the Narayani Sub-Regional Hospital; Dr Ruhullah, Dr Nimesh Pal Raman and Dr Irshadul Haqq of the National Medical College; and Dr Ram Kumar Pradhan and Dr Dinesh Kumar Teli have got clean chit.
