Pokhara, Nepal: At least four people have died on the spot and six other have sustained injuries when a passenger jeep with registration number Dha 1 Ja 184 met with a accident at Gwalichaur of Bodyguard-5 in Baglung district on Monday.
The ill-fated jeep was en route to Kharwang from Jaljala in the district. It is said that the death toll would exceed because the injured passengers have been reported as critical in condition.
The jeep had plunged some 600 meters off the road. Though the exact cause behind the accident is yet to be identified, it is guessed that poor conditions of road due to the rains would have a cause behind the accident.
