Kathmandu, Nepal, November 12, 2019: President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh Md. Abdul Hamid has arrived today in Kathmandu on a four-day official goodwill visit to Nepal.
The Bangladesh president attended the ceremonial welcome at the TIA VVIP lounge. The ceremony was attended by President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and National Assembly Chairman Ganesh Prasad Timalsina, cabinet ministers, high-ranking government officials and chiefs of national security agencies.
Bangladeshi President Hamid has arrived in Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Bhandari. During his stay in Nepal Bangladeshi President Hamid will hold meetings with his Nepali counterpart Bhandari, Prime Minister Oli and other high ranking officials.
