Kathmandu, Nepal: A cabinet meeting scheduled for today afternoon likely to take a decision of appointment of chiefs of the federal states- governors and provincial capitals.
Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has been consulting with the leaders of the CPN-UML and CPN Maoist Center before the cabinet meeting prior to the meeting with intent to forge consensus to fix the governors and the provincial capitals.
According to a source close to the office of the Prime Minister and council of ministers, cabinet meeting is called at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar at 4:30 pm.
