Kathmandu, Nepal: Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan has arrived in Nepal on a three-day official visit on Thursday.
Defense Minister Balkrishna Khand and Defense Secretary Shreedhar Sapkota received Chang at the VVIP lounge at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
Chang has arrived in Nepal at the invitation of Defense Minister Balkrishna Khand. In the Chinese delegation led by Chinese Defense Minister Chang, 19-members are included.
It is said that Chang is scheduled to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Defense Minister Khanda today itself. Likewise, he is also scheduled to meet other high ranking government officials of Nepal Army.
