Kathmandu, Nepal, March 23, 2021: Coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 276,244 after 188 new cases reported in the past 24 hours on Tuesday.
Of the total infected cases, 97 cases were surfaced in Kathmandu valley alone, the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has said.
According to the MoHP, of the total newly infected cases in Kathmandu valley, 76 cases were surfaced in Kathmandu district, 16 in Lalitpur district and five in Bhaktapur district.
Likewise, 77 people, who were earlier infected with the virus, have been discharged after recovery. With the addition, total recovery tally of the country has advanced to 272,097.
There are currently 1,128 active cases of coronavirus across the country. Of them, only 48 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities.
