Biratnagar, Nepal, October 5, 2020: A coronavirus (COVID-19) suspect patient has committed suicide by jumping off the roof of the Biratnagar-based Biratnagar Hospital on Monday.
Though the deceased was undergoing treatment at the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after having breathing difficulties, it is yet to be confirmed that whether he was infected with the virus or not.
According to the Police, the deceased has been identified as Amrit Gajmer, 53, of Miklajung Rural Municipality-3, Morang. Morang Police has said that probe is underway into the incident.
