Kathmandu, Nepal: The death toll of Kavre bus accident has reached 33. A passenger bus had met with the accident at Birta Deurali of Kavre district on Monday.
It is said that 43 others have been injured in the incident. As almost all of them had died in the spot, it is feared that the death toll would increase as about two dozen passengers are said to be in very critical condition.
All the injured people have been rushed in different hospitals in Dhulikhel and Kathmandu for treatment.
Nepal Army has airlifted 28 seriously injured passengers to Kathmandu by a Nepali Army chopper while 15 have been admitted at Dhulikhel based hospital.
It is said that the injured passengers, who were airlifted to Kathmandu, are admitted at Trauma Centre Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH).
