Pokhara, Nepal: Heavy rainfall in Pokhara and around the region since Saturday evening has created havoc on Sunday.
Flash flood in triggered by torrential rainfall has claimed one while another person is missing in Pokhara alone.
According to the police, Krishna Bahadur Thapa, 56, of Lamachaur in Pokhara-16 died during the course of treatment.
It is said that Thapa was fatally injured while he was swept away by the sudden flash flood.
Likewise, another person at Pokhara – 17, Birauta, has also been swept away by the flash floods.
Likewise, the Pokhara-Baglung road section has also been obstructed due to a landslide triggered by incessant rainfall on Sunday.
