Kathmandu, Nepal: A tremor of local magnitude 4.2 has been recorded in Sindhupalchok district on Monday. 
 
The tremor has been occurred just a day before the devastating Gorkha earthquake’s second anniversary.  The earthquake measuring 7.6 local magnitudes had hit Barpak region of Gorkha district, at 11:56 am on April 25, 2015.
 
According to the National Seismological Centre (NSC) the tremor was recorded at 5:04 pm. The tremor is called as an aftershock of the devastating earthquake.
 
It is said that the epicentre of the tremor was near Baramchi, which lies north-east of the district headquarters Chautara.
