Pokhara, Nepal: A Nepal Army soldier shot dead his own colleague while two were on duty at Ratna Temple located on the banks of Phewa Lake at Pokhara of Kaki district on Tuesday morning.
According to the Kaski district police Lance Corporal Basanta Lohar of Darchula shut to Ganesh Singh Bista of Baitadi. It is said that Lohar fired seven bullets at Bista due to a dispute at around 4:30 on Tuesday morning.
It is said that Lohar has been detained. Though the cause of the dispute is not revealed yet, Lohar has confessed the crime, claims a source at the Kaski Police.
Bista’s body is taken to a regional hospital for the postmortem.
