Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ramesh Lekhak has claimed that his party will secure sweeping victory in the local level elections scheduled for May 14 and June 14.
Lekhak, who is also the NC Central Committee member and coordinator of the Local Level Election 2074 Central Publicity Coordinator Sub Committee, claimed so while speaking at the press conference organized at party’s headquarters in Sanepa on Monday.
There has been a huge public support for the party in the run-up to the first round of local elections, Lekhak said. All the cadres and leaders are actively participating in the run-up to the elections, he said claiming that the decision made by the party regarding the elections will not be violated from any rank and file.
During the function he also revealed that the party has deputed all Central Committee members to maintain coordination among the people in all the rural, municipal, and regional and district coordination committees and sister wings of the party.
