Kathmandu, Nepal, March 13, 2020: The Nepal government has suspended the labor approval for foreign employment for an indefinite period bearing in mind the spreading fear of coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
A meeting of the Novel Coronavirus Disease Prevention and Control High-Level Coordination Committee held on Friday decided this effect. It is said that the labor approval has been suspended until further notice.
The Nepal government has made the decision owning to the concerns shown by the foreign countries not to issue the labor permits.
