Kathmandu, Nepal, July 20, 2021: Nepal recorded 2,202 new coronavirus infection cases from across the country in the past 24 hours on Tuesday. With the addition, coronavirus infection tally of the country has advanced to 670,953.

Meanwhile, 1,595 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 634,927.

Likewise, 25 more deaths related to the coronavirus infections have been recorded from across the country in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 9,607.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 13,135 total tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 8,836 were PCR tests while 4,299 were antigen tests. 

There are currently 26,410 active cases across the country. Of the total active cases, only 304 individuals are staying in various quarantine facilities across Nepal.
