Kathmandu, Nepal: Nepali Congress has failed to select the leaders to join in the CPN Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal led government even on Wednesday, thanks to the internal differences.
Although it was said that the Nepali Congress would pick the party leaders to join in the government by Wednesday, the mounting dispute within the Nepali Congress failed to reach on the conclusion.
It is likely that cabinet expansion would be further delayed due to the Nepali Congress as president Sher Bahadur Deuba is leaving for Singapore for treatment on Friday.
It is said that the established faction led by party President Sher Bahadur Deuba has finalized the names while Ram Chanda Poudel led faction has been reeling under the internal rivalry.
A meeting held between the Poudel loyal leaders has not only failed to reach on the conclusion on the issue of leaders to send in the government but also on the issue of share that the faction has got.
As the Nepali Congress will get 13 ministers from the party the Poudel led faction has demanded five ministries but the establishment faction led by Deuba has been denying providing five ministers to the Poudel led faction.
