Kathmandu, Nepal, September 24, 2020: Nepal’s coronavirus infection tally reached to 69,301 after 1,497 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours.

Of the total 1,497 new cases recorded in the last 24 hours, 755 were from Kathmandu valley alone. Among the newly recoded cases in Kathmandu valley, 609 were from Kathmandu while 95 in Lalitpur and 51 in Bhaktapur.

Likewise, 457 people, who were earlier tested positive of virus, have been discharged after recovery. So far, 50,411 people have recovered from the coronavirus.

There are 18,437 active cases of infection in the country while 6,565 people are under quarantine.

Likewise, death toll due to the infection of coronavirus reached 453 after seventeen fatalities were registered in the past 24 hours, The Ministry of Heath and Population said during a regular virtual press briefing on Thursday.
