Kathmandu, Nepal: Newly appointed judges of the High Courts have been administered oath of office and secrecy amid a function in the Supreme Court (SC)on Wednesday. 
 
Chief Judges of the related High Courts administered the oath of office and secrecy to the newly appointed judges. Chief Justice Sushila Karki, Law Minister Ajay Shankar Nayak and SC judges were present in the function. 
 
The Judicial Council (JC) had recommended the names of 80 judges to seven high courts on January 12. The recommendation made from the judicial council has been dragged into controversies.
