Kathmandu, Nepal, November 5, 2019: The newly-appointed state governors have been administered the oath of office and secrecy amid a function on Tuesday.
President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered the oath of office and secrecy at Rashtrapati Bhawan, Sheetal Niwas.
The newly-appointed governors were Somnath Adhikari 'Pyasi' of state-1, Tilak Pariyar of state-2, Bishnu Prasad Prasain of state-3, Amik Sherchan of Gandaki state, Dharmanath Yadav of state-5, Govinda Prasad Kalauni of Karnali State and Sharmeela Kumari Pant of Sudurpaschim State.
Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Chief justice Cholendra Shumsher JB Rana, National Assembly Chair Ganesh Prasad Timilsina, deputy prime ministers, ministers and high ranking officials also present in the function.
