Kathmandu, Nepal, May 3, 2019: President Bidya Devi Bhandari presents the government’s annual policies and programs at the Federal Parliament Building on Friday.
Presenting the government’s annual policies and programs, president Bhandari states that her recent visit to northern neighbor China became productive to take bilateral relations into a new height and to accelerate the development activities in Nepal.
Various seven agreements including the protocol on the implementation of the Transit Transport Agreement made during my recent visit to China has helped to strengthen bilateral ties between the two neighboring countries and to accelerate the development activities in Nepal, President Bhandari said.
Likewise, President Bhandari also said that the government has made a base to move forward the country towards the path of development and prosperity by enhancing rail, road and inland connectivity.
