Kathmandu, Nepal, May 31, 2023: President Ramchandra Poudel authamnticated the the long-awaited Citizenship Bill.
The office of the president has revealed that the bill was authanticated by the president on Wednesday morning.
The Citizenship Bill, which was passed from both the session of the federal parliamsnet with overhelming majority, was hanging on balance after outgoing President Bidya Devi Bhandari denided to authanticate.
