Kathmandu, Nepal, December 10, 2020: Notwithstanding inter and inter and intra party rift, Prime Minister KP Oli has on Thursday called a meeting of the constitutional council for coming Sunday to fill the vacant positions in the different constitutional bodies.
Prime Minister Oli has called the meeting for 9:00 am on December 13 at his official resident, Baluwatar, a source close to the Prime Minister said. It is said that all the members of the constitutional council including the leader of the main opposition party Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has been invited in the meeting.
Though the meeting is called with the aim to fulfill about four dozen vacant positions in the constitutional bodies, it is likely that the meeting would not reach on the conclusion to fulfill the vacant positions due to inter and intra party rifts.
