Kathmandu, Nepal, August 12, 2024: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has extended an invitation to his Indian counterpart, Narendra Modi, for an official visit to Nepal through Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, who is currently on an official visit to Nepal.
During the meeting with Indian Foreign Secretary Misri, at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar on Sunday, Primer Oli extended the invitation at his convenient time.
As Indian foreign secretary Misri’s visit to Nepal marks the first high-level interaction between the two nations since KP Sharma Oli’s recent appointment as Prime Minister, the meeting is taken importantly from different sectors.
Indian Foreign Secretary Misri is scheduled to return to India today concluding his two day official visit to Nepal. Indian Foreign Secretary Misri, who initiated following an invitation from Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal, also met president Ram Chandra Poudel and discussed on ranges of issues.
