Ram Chandra Poudel elected as the third president of Nepal

Kathmandu, Nepal, March 9, 2023: Nepali Congress’s candidate Ram Chandra Poudel has been elected in the post of president. With the election, Poudel has become the third elected president of Nepal.

In the presidential elections held on Thursday at the parlaismentry building at New Baneshowr Poudel got elected garnering 33802 votes while another contender CPN UML’s candidate Subash Chandra Nemwang got just 15418 votes.
