Kathmandu, Nepal : The re-election in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-19 held on Friday with 75.58 per cent voter turnout.
According to the Election Commission (EC) the total number of votes cast today was 2,870.
In the first phase of local level elections the voter turnout was 2,897 winch is just 27 voters less than the previous polls.
The re-election was conducted in the ward after the CPN Maoist Centre cadres allegedly tore 90 ballot papers on May 28 while counting was underway.
