Kathmandu, Nepal: Renowned social worker Anuradha Koirala who is also the CNN Hero 2010 award winner, has joined the Nepali Congress on Sunday.
Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel welcomed Koirala to the party amid a program organized at Prime Minister’s official resident, Baluwatar.
After joining in the Nepali Congress Koirala reasoned that economic development and prosperity was only possible with Nepali Congress.
During the function, she also urged all to vote for Nepali Congress in the upcoming elections to strengthen the democracy in the country.
