Kathmandu, Nepal: A senior leader of the Chinese Communist Party, Liu Qibao, is arriving in Kathmandu on Saturday
Liu, who is also the head of the party’s propaganda department, is arriving here to inaugurate the seventh China Festival in Kathmandu.
However, his visit to Nepal is taken importantly in the political as well as diplomatic sector.
Liu will be the first senior Chinese official to visit Nepal after CPN Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal took office as the prime minister in August.
During his stay in Kathmandu, he is will pay courtesy calls on President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and among other leaders from different political parties.
