Kathmandu, Nepal, August 24, 2023: At least seven people died and 19 others injured when a passenger bus carrying pilgrims met with an accident in Churiyamai area of Jitpur Simara sub-metropolitan city-22 in Bara district at wee hours on Thursday.
The ill-fated bus with registered number Madhesh Pradesh bus No. 03-001 B 7994 that was on its way from Kathmandu to Loharpatti in Mahottari, met with the fetal accident at around 1 o'clock on Thursday morning.
The fetal accident occurred after the bus veered off the road falling approximately 15 meters near Churiyamai Mandir on East-West Highway in Jitpursimra sub-metropolitan city of Bara district.
