At the current context in Nepal Madhesi politics is all pervasive. These Madhesi people have turned Terai into their threading type of holding. Nepal's Terai plain adjoins the Indian border. It is easy to travel in Terai in geographical sense. The castes that have entered Nepal from the southern part are Madhesi. There is no Madhesi named village or district in whole of Terai. Those who call themselves as being Madhesi are not the indigenous tribes. Many workers, horse traders, and those who sold their commodities on mobile stalls came from various states of India including Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. This group that came to Nepal seeking business opportunities and other domestic works was termed as Madhesi. This term ‘Madhesi’ emanated from these Madhesi people that had no permanent residence in Nepal, but were constantly. It has been wrongly interpreted the meaning of Madhesi. Who are actually Madhesis? Are those who live in Madhes- Tharu, Rajbanshi, Dhimal, Muslims, Brahmins, Chhetri, Rai, Limbu, Madwadis and so on Madhesis shifting their shelters.
In Nepal Tharu indigenous people have been living over a long historical period of time in the plains of Terai that stretches from East to West. In other countries even India Tharu people are not found. From the western to eastern part of Terai, there are Tharus' villages and in eastern Koshi there are Rajbanshis's villages. Tharu and Rajbanshi are Nepal’s true patriots. However some of them latter migrated to Bihar and Uttar Pradesh of India. Many people of the hilly region have lived in the plains of Terai before Prithvi Narayan Shah’s era. 'Tharus community has been successful in keeping its cultural activities alive and kicking. Rugar Gerend, A German scholar has written-'Tarai community is rich in culture, traditions, dance and song.' Armaments do occupy a very special place in Tharu community. They think God and Goddess manifest themselves through natural forces around us. Tharu communities celebrate the Holi and Maghi with devotion.'-(LB Thapa) The Tharus never support the slogan of Madhesis people-'one Madhis one state.''
After 2006, Madhesis were successful into tricking the government to grant them citizenship certificates. After 2006, in the name of federalism, and under Indian effort, 4 million citizenship certificates were distributed illegally in which some native party's brokers were used. These people are now advocating the slogan of ‘One Madhes One Pradesh (state)’ to disintegrate Nepal, which is an old scheme, but which has now gathered momentum under this Madhesi leadership. It is questionable. When from the so-called leaders of Madhesis, Jayaprakash Gupta, Rajendra Mahato, Mahanta Thakur, Hridayas Tripathi and such pro-Indians Madhesie had taken their citizenship in Nepal? And why are they disturbing Nepalese unity? What can be a bigger betrayal by Madhesi than this?
The other residents of Terai as Jha, Mishra, Gupta, Thakur, Yadav, Dev, Singh, Gohit, Mahato as you and other castes have been living in this region since time immemorial, and they are the native people. The holy land of Janakpur is not Madhes, neither are Lumbini and Barahachhetra. At the eastern side Birat is not Madhes. Since the era of Birat King the area east of Koshi is not known as Madhes. Mithila Pradesh is a center of civilization. Likewise, Lumbini, the birthplace of Gautam Budha is not Madhes. For example, Tibet lies north of Nepal; Tibetans have been traveling to Nepal’s northern area for trade purposes. Can Nepal’s northern sector be called Tibet on this basis? The holy land of Janakidham and Mithila has been the center of civilization and culture.
In this context Dr. Tilak Shrestha writes-' If we see the social and economic differences then we will see more within Madheshi and Pahadi, than between Madheshi and Pahadi. Matter of fact, Madheshis is better off economically than Pahadis. Thus it is not really a socio-economic issue but the issue of Madhshi Jamindars. Earlier in Rana time, Jamindars were like local kings. After King Mahendra's land reform 'Bhoomi suhar', these Landlords 'Jamindars' lost land \ power \ prestige \ money. Thus they became enemies of King and by proxy against Pahadis'
Now, the Madhesis' scheme is starting to politicize the Nepal Army, which will inevitably destroy its norms and values, has been a subject of dissatisfaction among Terai’s indigenous tribes as Tharu, Rajbanshi, Mithila residents and Awadhis. Bijaya Gachhedar is Tharu, but he is also converted to Madhesi as the traitor by the hint of RAW who is appointed deputy PM in the present Govt.
We can study an example of the grand design of RAW against Nepal at 11 Feb 2012. As per Indian design a four point agreement was signed between Maoist and Medhesi party. The Maoist leader Dr. Baburam Bhattarai is one of the Catholic Christian who wants to break Nepal to Christianize. Baburam Bhattarai's body is Nepali and mind is Indian. And then, the culprit scholar Baburam became the PM of Nepal by the involvement of RAW. He is the top most follower of the Indian Prof. SD Muni. In the presence of the Indian Intelligence Agency-RAW's Chief Alok Joshi, Baburam Bhattarai became the PM of Nepal where the signature had done by the Maoist leader Prachanda. The four point deal included 10,000 Madhesi youths into the Nepal Army, and the subject of ‘One Madhes One Pradesh’. Actually, the Madhesis are the evil elements of Nepal. In that scenario, just 2014 Sep. a broker CK Rahut which is known agent of CIA who is active to break Nepal is provoking the separate Madhes state in Nepal Tarai. There are so many evidences that Tarain people have got many facilities than Hill side of Nepal. The pro-Indian Nepali Rajendra Mahato, Mahanta Thakur, Hridayas Tripathi, Jaya Prasad Gupta also have been pleading 'one Madhes one state.'
It is a matter of grief that we Nepalese people are suffering from Communist regime in Nepal. Since 3rd Ashoj 2072 (20th Sep. 2015), the party leaders- Congress, UML, Maoist declared secularism and republic in new constitution which was imposed from EU, CIA and Congress (I) brokers and RAW to Christianize Nepal ending the world Hindu Kingdom. After the declaration of secularist and republican constitution, the Madhesi has started the blocked in Nepal's southern border. But, the Madhesi movement is guided from RAW and the Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae to defame the BJP and Modi Govt. The Madhesi gangs want to destabilize Nepal in the name of One Madhes. The Madhesi blockade is creating anti-Indian feeling in Nepal including in all over the world. Then, the BJP image is also may deteriorate. So Modi Govt should have to think to end the nefarious blockade in Nepal-India border of Nepal
It was a matter of happiness that before 18 months, BJP- the Hindu nationalist party has captured Indian regime. BJP should have to think and request diplomatically to the Govt. and the party leaders of Nepal to keep as it is the constitutional monarchy and Hindu kingdom. The reality is that the Hindu kingdom and Hindu monarchy are the identified symbols of Nepal to keep intact the Hinduism in all over the world. Nepal is a country which has a long history of religious and communal harmony where all castes, religions and languages have survived and flourished with tolerance and co-existence in the guardianship of monarchy. The republic, secularism and federalism are not the agendas and issues of Nepal. The declaration of Nepal as a Hindu Kingdom does not signify just its religion rather it is taken as the source of Nepalese nationalism and an inseparable part of Nepal.
So, the party leaders made a grave mistake by declaring Nepal as a secular state. If instead of declaring Nepal as solely a Hindu country, it would have made sense if it were declared both Hindu and Buddhist country. But it is a matter of serious concern for whose interest Nepal was declared a secular state. Nepal is a small country and on the south there is a big country with open border. There are about 800 million Hindus and Indian Hindus respect Nepal as a Hindu kingdom. This should be taken as a matter of pride for us. For security reasons also, Nepal has a big advantage by being a Hindu country. Even if one is a Christian or a Muslim, they should support to keep Nepal a Hindu country. But the three political parties have made a great mistake by announcing Nepal as a secular state
Nepal and India are only the two pious Hindu countries in the world. The parliamentary system will instill a foundation to consolidate Nepal’s nationality, royal institution and Hindu status. We believe Indo-Nepal relations will find new dimensions with Modi government of India. In order to conserve Hinduism in Nepal and India and to maintain harmonious relation with Nepal, the strong Hindu nationalist party BJP and Modi Govt should support to restore the only Hindu Kingdom in the world with constitutional monarchy. India should positive and supportive role to give attention to restore the world Hindu kingdom and Hindu monarch. The King’s special authority in India’s Hindu pilgrimage sites and shrines will continue. So, Nepal and India should have to play the constructive roles on Hinduism.
We must not allow a situation that endangers the national security of China. We must seek all options for this but what options do we have on hand. We cannot always rely on arms for solution of such problems. If the royal institution is reinstated in Nepal it could provide a way for solution. The royal institution of Nepal wedged between China and India is such a pillar which can bring a balance between these two giant nations. It is a symbol of peace. So we must respect Nepal’s monarchical system and for that we must enthrone the King in his throne.
In India 80 per cent of the population is Hindu. During the 1000 years of Muslim and English rule the Hindu shrines were destroyed and vandalized; and India desecrated and Hindu values harmed. India became Independent in 1947 after a great struggle by Indian nationalists. The constitution of the independent India declared itself 'secular'. A secular India was established following a joint effort between Hindu, Muslim and Christian’s to draft a new constitution. It is not possible now to declare India a Hindu nation. It is not possible constitutionally. India should have been a Hindu nation from 1947. But Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru and other leaders wanted secular system to create the harmonious among all the religions. Then, the secular tradition has established. But in Nepal, there is another situation that from the beginning of Nepal unification 1768, the Nepal's nationality and its traditions has been symbolizing- Hindu Kingdom under the leadership of Shah Monarch.
For the sake of Hindus and Hinduism, BJP Govt. must reconstruct the Hindu shrines, temples and Dhams and have to inform the world the glory of Hindu religion being a secular country. Muslim and Christian’s right to live freely with their respective, they must feel respected in India. But the Hindu religion should be in top priority and there should be punished if anyone persuades others to change their religion. The Hindu nationalist party-BJP will be revered as a great party if it succeeds in persuading the Indian government. Nepal & India should focus- the constructive role on Hinduism restoring the only one Hindu kingdom as one epitome in the world.
Hiwatkhanda Nepal is the land where various Holy Scriptures as Vedas, Upanishads, and other Shastra (religious guidelines) had taken birth. This region is decorated by the splendidly curving rivers bringing the fresh waters of Himalayas, and the knowledge emanating from the meditative aura of many divine Rishis flows as thoughts. Himwatkhanda- Nepal is the origin of human civilization. In this land Gautam Buddha was born and the world was illumined with his wisdom. It is said, ‘Bodhisatya Mahasatya; Swayambhu Chaitya Namanyaha’. Before India was termed as Hindusthan, the creator of this nation Prithvinarayan Shah had said- 'Nepal is pious land. It is a right Hindusthan for all castes and 36 races.' In such a context the aborigines, natives and immigrant nationalities of this nation must answer against the conspiracy being hatched by the so-called evil elements of Tarai who's named- Madhesi party.
