Hetauda, Nepal, July 3, 2023: At least three people were killed and two others injured when two trucks collided each other on head on the east-west road section of Nayabasti Dipat village of Manhari Rural Municipality Ward No. 6 of Makwanpur district on Saturday Morning.
The ill-fated trucks, one with register No. 6 Kha 6667 that was going towards Chitwan from Hetaunda of Makwanpur and another with registered No. 6 Kha 631 that was coming from the opposite direction, collided each other at 2 am on Saturday morning.
According to District Police Office Makwanpur, two trucks caught fire after collided each other. Both the trucks were completely damaged due to the fire, police said.
Among police, those died in the accident are identified as the truck driver of No. 6 Kha 6667 truk, 28-year-old Rihan Rumba Tamang of Chitwan District, Rapti Municipality, Wada No.8, co-driver of the same truck, 21-year-old Suman Chepang from Gorditar of Gandaki Rural Municipality Ward no. 2 of Gorkha District and the co-driver of the truck with registration No. 6 Kha 631 20 years old Amrit Praja of Manhari Rural Municipality in Makwanpur District.
Similarly, the injured one are Vivek Tamang, 35, of Rapti Municipality of Chitwan and Arjun Kumar, 32, of Manhari of Makawanpur.
