Pokhara, Nepal: A tourist from Finland sustained serious injuries while paragliding in Pokhara on Thursday.
According to the Police, Timmo Tapio Rissanen, 45 , sustained injuries while landing at Sedi River at Pokhara sub metropolitan city. He has been airlifted to Kathmandu for treatment.
Paragliding related accident is becoming common in Pokhara. A British pilot had died while paragliding in Sarangkot area of Pokhara last week.
