Kathmandu, Nepal: The examination of 12th graders, which is renamed as School Leaving Certificate Examination (SLCE) has begun all over the country from today. The students have given the examination of English today. 
 
According to the National Education Board (NEB), the government agencies responsible to manage the school level examinations, three lakh, and 53 thousand and 12 students participated in the SLCE exams in nine hundred and ninety one centers set up all over the country. 
 
12th graders examination was renamed as SLCE ending the 83 years old history of examination as School Leaving Certificate (SLC), which was begun from 1934. The government has begun to recognize 1-12 grades as school level education from last year by amending to the Education Act.
