Ailing Maoist leader Pun leaves for Bangkok today for treatment
KATHMANDU, NEPAL: Ailing CPN Maoist Center leader Barsha Man Pun is flown to Bangkok today for treatment.
 
Pun was admitted to the Dhapasi-based Grande International Hospital after suffering from high fever last week.
 
Eelier, Pun was taken to Bangkok and admitted to Sukhumvit Samitivej Hospital in December 2015 after he had suffered from the liver related ailments.  
 
It is said that Pun’s wife and Speaker of the Parliament Onsari Gharti is accompanying him.
 
Pun is considered as a trusted aide of Maoist Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
