Kathmandu , Nepal : The sub-committee under the parliamentary State Affairs Committee has on wednesday agreed for the provision that any political party to be recognized as a national party must secure at least one seat under first-past-the-post (FPTP) and three percent proportional vote. political parties on Wednesday.
A meeting of the committee held at Singha Durbar agreed for the provision. The agreement is made following the understanding of the major parties but thr fringe parties have expressed their serious objection.
