Kathmandu, Nepal, January 27, 2022: Nepal records 8,017 new cases of coronavirus infections from across the country in the past 24 hours on Thursday. With the addition nationwide infection tally has advanced to 939,267.
Meanwhile, 5,292 people, who had infected earlier with the virus, have been discharged after getting recovered in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide recovery tally has advanced to 837,004.
Likewise, 15 more deaths related to the coonavirus infections have been recorded in the past 24 hours. With the addition, nationwide death tally has advanced to 11,687.
There are currently 90,576 active cases of coronavirus infections across the country.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) total of 21,808 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of the total tests, 15, 7363 were PCR tests while 6,072 were antigen tests.
