Janakpurdham, Nepal: Former President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has underlined the need of national consensus among the political parties to break the current political impasse of the country.
Speaking at the inaugural ceremony of Federation of Nepali Journalists’s 10th Dhanusha district convention on Monday former President Dr. Yadav also urged the main opposition CPN-UML and the agitating Untied Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) to be flexible.
During the function he also urged the ruling parties to play a coordinating role among the main opposition party UML and the agitating UDMF in order to break the current political deadlock and to pave the way for the elections.
He also suggested to the parties to go into elections only after settling the differences among the parties.
