Kathmandu, Nepal, October 1, 2020: The government has recommended three names to appoint ambassador in three different countries on Thursday. A cabinet meeting held on Thursday morning decided to recommend three names to fulfill the three different vacant ambassadorial positions.
Member of the International Relations Department of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Dr Nirmal Kumar BK, Central Committee Member of the party and former finance minister and Yuba Raj Khatiwada and outgoing Chief Secretary Lok Drashan Regmi have been recommended to the post of Ambassador to South Africa, United State of America (USA) and United Kingdom (UK) respectively.
The recommendation made by the government has to be endorsed from the parliamentary committees before appointments.
