Kathmandu, Nepal, September 7, 2023: The Kathmandu District Court has scheduled the hearing in the Sandeep Lamichhane case for Friday. Previously, the case was put on hold the hearing for multiple times.
Cricketer Lamichhane is accused of raping a minor. The victim minor had filed a complaint on September 6 last year.
Following the complaint, cricket Lamichhane was arrested at Tribhuvan International Airport on October 6 last year.
Lamichhane has just returned to Nepal after representing the country in the Asia Cup.
